Brussels National Airport, in Dutch Brussel-Nationaal luchthaven, commercially called Brussels Airport since 19 October 20062 but still sometimes called "Zaventem Airport", or even "Zaventem", is a Belgian airport located twelve kilometres north-east of Brussels, in the territory of the municipalities of Zaventem, Machelen and Steenockerzeel in the province of Flemish Brabant3. It is mainly used for international flights to Europe, Africa, Asia, America and the Middle East.
